Besides working exactly as intended -- keeping her safe and snug in a too-large seat -- it is easy to clean and easy to transfer between stroller and car seat. The soft Velboa side is warm in the cooler months and when flipped, the cotton side is cooler in the warmer months. My only complaint would be that the cotton side is a dark color which seemed to really absorb the sun's heat on our daily walks in the warmer months. Luckily the head piece detaches from the body piece so I could keep her cooler. After MANY washes over the past year it is still in perfect condition.
